“Generation Z” is taking on volunteering

10 May , 2017

IPDJ is promoting “Geração Z” a volunteering opportunity for young people between the ages of 16 and 30.

As part of the “Agora Nós” program, this campaign aims to promote opportunities for young people to live an active life and develop new skills through non-formal education, by volunteering with entities that deal in areas such as the environment, associativism, social inclusion, sports, gender equality, and entrepreneurship.

If you are a private non-profit and would like to submit a project, you are encouraged to do so. The call for project submission is open until the 31st of May.

If on the other hand, you would like to take a chance on this opportunity as a volunteer, you can browse the approved projects and apply for your favorites from June 26th until July 7th and from July 17th to August 18th.

The volunteering actions will happen between July and November, and every volunteer will be entitled to a daily reimbursement of 5€, for a daily occupation of 4 hours.

We are working on our own application for this project, so keep an eye out, you might just be on your way to be our next volunteer and help change our community.
