On the 11th of November past, and in the spirit of “World Origami Day”, Agora Aveiro held an origami workshop in its headquarters. This activity, which joined our volunters with the community, is part of our “Origami Art Attack” project, included in our “Art and culture” department, with the aim of developing creativity and artistic expression, using them as tools for social intervention.
With the help of our meticulous voluntaries and Quero Imprimir, who kindly offered the paper we worked with, various lucky individuals had the opportunity to learn some paper crafts within this traditional Japanese craft. Either employing simple techniques or more elaborate ones, sheets of paper colored in green, blue or red tonalities, all of your efforts produced beautiful designs with a rather complex appearance, from an humble paper square.
Whether you came to relieve stress, learn the craft, to hang out or just to occupy your mind, we thank you all for making our day brighter and more colorful!
