Our team grew

On March 20th, we went to the University of Aveiro to find out who else wants to more than talk about it, wants to make it happen.

Agora Aveiro is where what often times seems impossible comes true. But none of this can happen without the effort and dedication of the people who make our team. It would be odd if the association striving for change did not go through it itself.

We have a very special fondness for the members of our team who grew with us and now follow their path a little further from the view, but never far from the heart. Nostalgia embraces us with a little more force, and we feel the tightness of longing, but we smile as we look at what we have achieved together, and we feel great pride when we see that they took with them the will to change the world, and this is what they continue to do. We also continue to work in this direction, but we are not the only ones with that natural restlessness that comes with wanting to do more and better.

So, last March 20th, we went to the University of Aveiro to find out who else wants to more than talk about it, wants to make it happen. We presented our areas of intervention, how we're organized, some of our past projects and talked about the international volunteer opportunities we have to offer. If you want to know more about this last part, you can check our page about the Erasmus+. We also had the first-hand testimony of some of our volunteers and open space for questions.

By April 10th, we were welcoming the new members of Agora Aveiro with some games and activities that allowed us to get to know each other a little better.

Change requires effort and dedication, it's not immediate, nor does it happen by itself, but we are willing to take up the challenge and, at the end of the day, we are not alone. At the end of this process, Agora Aveiro has a renewed team. With several new people, but with the same desire to grow, to spread ideas, to change the way people see the world and inspire them to take action.
