On this Valentine's Day, Cupid's helpers had only one goal: to warm the hearts of the Aveirenses with small gestures. So, we went out to the streets to spread appealing murals in the city of Aveiro.

Yes, we resorted to mathematics, but the formula was simple, and anyone could answer it. 1+1 doesn't always equal 2. In the end, the sum of a couple, family, friends or something more than friends, can be equal to a home, can be what makes the heart beat, or can be so hot that starts a fire.

The first mural was outside the train station, in which the population found a heart full of tenderness. The second mural was near the Forum: a house, representing a home, a blood family or a family of choice. The third and last mural, for the most daring, and to warm a little the climate of our city, a flame, which could be found in the Professor Aristides Hall Pavilion of the University of Aveiro.

Not noticing them was difficult, and some accepted the challenge and took a photo or two. Another different way to celebrate such a well-known date.

This project had the support of the Instituto Português do Desporto e Juventude I.P.
